This course teaches students about the terminology, concepts and techniques of inferential statistics and their application to analyze quantitative research data in order to test hypotheses. Lecture material includes inferential statistical terminology and concepts related to inferential statistics, types of inferential statistics, inferential statistical techniques, examples and exercises in applying inferential statistical techniques to carry out hypothesis testing. Lectures were carried out in 16 face-to-face meetings using complementary lecture, question and answer, discussion and exercise methods and assisted by the use of multimedia technology to deliver lecture material. Assessment of student success is based on participation scores, assignment scores, mid-term exam scores (UTS), and final semester exam scores (UAS).
